- Description: I heard a loon in the garden this morning. I only heard him because of them. He’s probably always there. Now I’m there too.

There’s a few women I’ve met,
over the last few years,
that insist

that I sit still.

Close my eyes.
Open my eyes.
Listen.
Move my body.
Use my voice.
Breathe.
And care.

I heard a loon in the garden this morning.
I only heard him because of them.
He’s probably always there.

Now I’m there too.
